Shell’s Team Cupcake Ipswich
Supporting Ipswich Women with Cancer
Who are we?
Team Cupcake Inc started out with a couple of friends and some family raising money to pay for a beloved friends secondary cancer treatment.
Along our journey we discovered that there were many other ladies in Ipswich that needed the same help or just a little and sometimes just needed to know that someone was thinking of them and cared.
And so Team Cupcake became an incorporation so that we could help ease the burdens of other ladies and leave a legacy for our beloved friend Shelley so for every lady we help her memory is kept alive.
Team Cupcake Inc would not have been possible without the amazing support and help from local business and people.
What do we do?
We help Ipswich ladies by easing burdens and creating memories.
How?
As every lady is different so is the way we help but we use our database of local business and fundraising money to do things like family portrait sittings, holidays, yard maintenance and delivered fruit and veg baskets.
How Can I Help?
We are always after fundraising ideas, so please email us with your great ideas. Any donations of products that we can gift to ladies in need or use as prizes in raffles and other fundraisers are always appreciated.
And of course money! We can help with little as $25, so it doesn’t matter how big or small your donation is – it all helps!

Testimonial
When you get diagnosed with cancer it’s one of the scariest things to ever hear, in the space of a few minutes your future goes from bright and never ending to questionable. That’s what it was like for me Sophie Oudney a 30yr old mother of 3 (Jake 9, Luke 6, Amy 5). The first few weeks of waiting for more answers is unbearable, then one day I received a parcel in the mail…a beautiful journal about a mother’s journey and a gift card for Woolworths.
It was from two ladies Karyn and Carmen from Team Cupcake who I had never heard about before. The kindness, generosity and caring from two complete strangers has helped to give me the strength I need to fight. To know that these two ladies have gone out of their way to let me know that my life is worth fighting for, that I am not on this journey alone.
I follow these two amazing ladies and Team Cupcake on Facebook and get a lot of support and encouragement from their stories and posts. Without realising it these two ladies have become somewhat of Heroes to my family and I. These are two of the most selfless, caring and amazing ladies that despite their own sad journey with their beautiful friend Shelley have found the courage, time, love and effort for complete strangers whilst making their friends dreams become a reality.
I will always hold a special place in my heart for all of Team Cupcake including Shelley. Thank you from the bottom of my heart….
